Case Study · BookSeats

From fans to franchises:
a B2B motion from scratch.

BookSeats built its business selling event travel directly to fans. Its next growth bet was B2B: a white-label platform sold to teams, leagues, and event organizers — but the team had never sold to a business buyer. In five months, Amplify taught them how, equipped them with the minimum viable assets and systems to do it, and helped create ~40 B2B deals.

01 The Goal

Teach a consumer marketplace how to sell to sports brands.

BookSeats lets fans build and book custom trips to games and events — flights, hotels, and tickets in one place. The consumer marketplace was working, with an official golf travel partnership already in place.

The bigger opportunity was B2B: BookSeats Experience, a white-label version of the platform that teams, leagues, and event organizers could offer their own fans to drive engagement, sponsor revenue, and first-party fan data. But the team had never sold to a business buyer. They needed to learn how — and they needed the basics to do it.

02 What Amplify Did

Audit, equip, and teach the team to sell B2B.

It started with a GTM audit. Amplify then built the minimum viable B2B toolkit — who to sell to, what to say, and the systems to run it — and coached the founding team through live conversations until they could run the motion themselves.

01

B2B strategy & playbook

Defined the ideal customer profile and buyer personas across teams, leagues, and event organizers, plus positioning, a documented sales process, and deal stages.

02

Minimum viable sales assets

Built the sales deck, one-pagers, proposals, landing pages, and custom prospect demos, and launched LinkedIn and email outbound to target properties.

03

RevOps, coaching & founder brand

Configured HubSpot with automation and dashboards for leadership and investors, coached the team weekly on live deals, and built the founder's media kit and LinkedIn presence.

03 What Changed

What changed for the business.

  • Built a B2B pipeline from zero: ~40 deals created with teams, leagues, and event properties in five months.
  • Taught a consumer team to sell to business buyers with a documented ICP, buyer personas, and B2B sales playbook.
  • Showed up to teams and leagues like an enterprise partner with a B2B sales deck, one-pagers, proposals, and custom prospect demos.
  • Filled the top of the funnel with targeted LinkedIn and email outbound that consistently booked conversations with sports properties.
  • Gave leadership and investors a clear view of the pipeline with HubSpot dashboards and automated deal tracking.
  • Raised the founder's profile with sports buyers through a media kit, podcast outreach, and LinkedIn thought leadership.
  • Set the team up to run it without Amplify with every process and asset documented in a shared Notion workspace.
We were looking for a foundation — the tools, the collateral, and the organization to start selling B2B. It was a void, something we couldn't do alone, and the materials we built together are exactly what we set out for.

04 The Result
I'm very happy with how things have gone. We're in a much better position than when we started — and I really respect Jess's knowledge and expertise in the space.
