Build a go-to-market function that could keep pace with the product.
Cascade helps private credit investors and lenders manage asset-based finance — think Carta for private credit. The product was winning respect, but go-to-market ran through the founder. There was no marketing function, no CRM the team relied on, and a brand that didn't yet match the institutional investors Cascade was selling to.
The goal was to build a GTM engine that could generate demand, support the next raise, and stand up against better-funded competitors — then hand it to an in-house team to run.
Audit, build, then hand over the keys.
It started with a 30-day GTM audit and a sharper target and position. Amplify then built the infrastructure, ran marketing and sales enablement as Cascade's fractional GTM lead, and, once the engine was running, hired and trained the marketing manager who took it over.
RevOps & HubSpot
Moved Cascade onto HubSpot across marketing and sales, with a documented sales process, pipeline dashboards, lead scoring, and automation.
Brand, content & PR
Led a rebrand and new website, built an SEO-driven content engine, and put the CEO in front of buyers through podcasts, webinars, and conference speaking.
Sales enablement & handoff
Built the decks, case studies, and reviews reps sell with, launched outbound and partner programs, then recruited, trained, and ramped an in-house marketing manager.
What changed for the business.
- Gave the founder a sales process that didn't depend on him with a documented playbook, SOPs, and a single CRM for every deal.
- Doubled average contract value by sharpening the ideal customer profile and positioning for larger buyers.
- Looked enterprise-ready to institutional investors through a rebrand and new website — a direct answer to brand concerns surfacing in competitive deals.
- Made Cascade easy to find: website traffic up 642%, domain authority from 2 to 21, and roughly 90 keywords on the first page of Google.
- Sped up buying decisions with social proof: customer case studies and a review campaign in a new G2 category created for Cascade.
- Built the CEO into a recognized voice with 7+ podcast appearances, webinars, and conference speaking slots.
- Kept the engine running after the handoff: recruited, trained, and ramped Cascade's first in-house marketing manager before rolling off.
